There are several changes which are being made in UAE Personal Status Law 2025. Allowing for the quicker case resolution the court provides a time period of 60 to 90 days for the arbitration of the divorce in UAE. The females are also allowed to apply for the divorce if by any chance the male fails to justify the reasons for abstains with marital relations over a time of six months. While Husbands have to register the divorce and reconciliation within 15 days to the court, and failing to do so can lead the wife to ask for compensation or alimony from their husbands.
